iGASES 3.6

The iGASES application from WITT provides a comprehensive and accessible resource for professionals working with technical gases. Recognizing the impracticality of memorizing all physical and chemical properties, this tool serves as an interactive reference, offering detailed information on current gases, including density, vapor pressure, ignition range, and thermal conductivity, along with essential safety guidelines.

The app also features a versatile unit converter that facilitates the conversion of key parameters such as pressure, volume, temperature, and mass across major international measurement systems. Its gas advisor function offers tailored recommendations for selecting appropriate protective gas mixtures in food packaging and metalworking applications—whether for welding, cutting, or modified atmospheres.

Additionally, the flow calculation tool simplifies the process of selecting suitable gas safety equipment by allowing users to input system pressure, back pressure, temperature, KV-value, and gas type; the app then provides the corresponding flow rate for optimal safety equipment performance.

iGASES further grants access to an extensive database of technical data pertaining to WITT gas technology products, including a gas lexicon, detailed product datasheets, and direct communication channels to WITT experts. Overall, it represents a valuable resource that consolidates complex information into an easy-to-navigate digital platform for technical professionals.
